Cable systems, steel rail designs, and frameless glass guardrails all come from one coordinated process, so the stair and railing are drawn together and their finishes match exactly.
In Tacoma’s historic homes, a thin steel rail can echo original ironwork without copying it, while in the modern waterfront builds, frameless glass keeps the Sound and the Foss visible from the staircase. Cable railings offer a lighter-budget path to the same openness. We walk you through the options with samples during the consultation.

A mono stringer runs one precision steel beam up the center of the staircase with treads mounted to both sides.
